North Walsham, you was absolutely revolting! What a fantastic turn out for both performances of our retelling of the peasant’s revolt here in town called ‘The Good, the Bad and the Revolting’.
The show romped through different locations led by North Walsham People’s Theatre Company, with songs by North Walsham People’s Choir and also featured dance and puppetry!
We then celebrated Summer Solstice in the Community Garden. What a brilliant finale to THREADS. 🐖🧵

Dear customers and supporters,
We had taken the decision a while ago (based on feedback from many of our customers and regulars) not to screen the football during the World Cup. We've written this post in response to this week as nobody (our staff, landlord or volunteers) should have any abuse directed as us for not doing so! 😅

As a community venue we already have so much happening here from bingo, festivals, live music and theatre shows, to classes, workshops and community events.
As many of you know, The Black Swan Theatre is well equipped as a cinema space, so we may consider showing the final if there's enough demand!

Please continue to support your local pub. There are other venues in town that will be screening the football, while we're here for those who fancy a quieter drink, a chat and some good company.
