Venturing into the over-saturated world of video game YouTube content: Chris Lotr and Nathan Smith have a mess around on the newly shadow-dropped Lord of the Rings: War in the North Legacy Edition.

Join them for a chilled out first part of their adventure where a Dwarf and a sexy lady traverse through lore-inaccurate landscapes to collect as many limbs as they can. Along with their NPC friend who they have aptly named Ian Wilson.

Chris and Nathan head back to Middle-earth for a co-op playthrough ...

10 minute slots, this is paid work and we at CFCC always pay the same way:
We split all ticket sales directly with all acts and MC evenly, so if you get a spot, get those tickets sold! Venue holds 100 and it's a lovely crowd with a huuuuge stage.

My first real taste of the Viz was when my uncle purchased Roger’s Profanisaurus for my dad at Christmas in the late 90’s. My father's declaration of “why has he bought me this sh*te!” intrigued me and my rebellious teenage nature so much it became my go to toilet read.

My vocabulary was instantly improved and I delighted that Christmas in being able to shout down the reply “an Alcho-poop” or an escape Sub when my mother asked what I was doing.

Viz was first published in 1979 and came straight from the mind of the Donald brothers, Simon and Chris, who as young lads wrote the comic from their bedrooms in Jesmond. Their first attempts at comedy were produced on the Grundig tape recorders they were gifted by their dad who had purchased it using Green Shield stamps.

They honed their writing skills in train-spotting publications, dished out to the houses on their street, and early comic attempts like the Daily Pie. The impact that their “little” magazine first sold in a Pub in Jesmond has had on British comedy can not be overstated and whether it is the Viz, their stand-up or even local radio their contribution to North east culture is incalculable.

I wonder whether Simon is aware that the greatest moment in his life was not meeting comedy legend Peter Cook, but sitting in front of me in the early 2000’s at the Theatre Royal to watch Jerry Springer: The Opera?
