I'm so proud that Cocoon is part of the Youth Music Energiser Learning Community — 11 wonderful organisations working across the UK from 2024 to 2027.

We're celebrating all that's unique, messy and unexpected about working creatively with 2–4 year-olds and their grown-ups.

This is, quite simply, the best-funded work I have ever done. And to do it while learning from, being inspired by, and being challenged by such incredible people and organisations — all held by a funder in Youth Music who genuinely cares about every bit of it — is one of the greatest honours of my working life.

Cocoon is a one-family-at-a-time music and movement play space based in the former beauty outlet at Royal Quays outlet centre.

This is a brand new, pilot offer, starting with just two families, made possible by support from Energiser Fund.

The offer is centred on the two-year-old and celebrates the parent as the most important adult in their child's life.
