💛 Sarra Hoy on resilience, perspective and finding strength through life's greatest challenges

Join Sarra Hoy as she shares her remarkable personal journey from solicitor and counsellor to advocate for neonatal families and cancer awareness.

Following her husband Sir Chris Hoy's stage 4 prostate cancer diagnosis and her own diagnosis of MS, Sarra helped establish Tour de 4, the charity cycling event that raised more than £3 million in its first year and returns this September.

In conversation with Kylie Reid, founder of egg, Scotland's largest network for women, Sarra will reflect on love, identity, family, resilience and what it means to rebuild when life takes an unexpected turn.

🎭 What do some of Broadway's biggest flops have in common?

🎵 Apparently, top songs.

Award-winning performer Arthur Hull invites audiences into the wonderfully weird world of musical theatre's greatest misfires with FLOP! - a fast-paced, funny and surprisingly heartfelt celebration of the shows that failed to find their audience.

Packed with showstopping numbers, fascinating backstage stories and plenty of laughs, this acclaimed cabaret uncovers hidden gems from critically panned and commercially disastrous productions.

Winner of Best Emerging Artist at Adelaide Fringe and Best Entertainment at the Dark Chat Awards during its Edinburgh Fringe run, FLOP! has become one of the most talked-about musical theatre shows on the circuit.

🌟 Discover The Times Lounge at Fringe by the Sea

We're delighted to welcome back The Times & The Sunday Times Scotland as Master Partner for 2026 and to introduce The Times Lounge - a reimagined venue at the heart of the festival.

Whether you're looking to learn something new or unleash your creativity, The Times Lounge will host a varied programme of talks, masterclasses and hands-on workshops throughout the festival.

From flower crown making, bird identification and biophilic garden design to zine-making, wicker weaving, sketching and wildflower growing, there's something for every curious mind.

And if you simply need a moment to recharge, The Times Lounge is the perfect place to pause, catch up with friends and read complimentary copies of the daily paper.

There’s more beyond The Lounge with:
🗞Sunday Papers (Sun 2 Aug, 3.30pm) - a panel of quick-witted, in-the-know guests discuss the stories, politics and cultural moments shaping Scotland today.
🎙Jane & Fi Live with special guest Jan Ravens (Fri 7 Aug, 11am) – expect lively, warm chat and observations on life, news and everything in between.
