Second delivery of Denon DJ PRIME 4 G2s arrived today and were already sold before they hit the shop floor. Two sitting here ready for collection, one already boxed up for a customer's shipment.

If you've been thinking about picking one up — 4-deck standalone, onboard Stems, the new MPCe pads, built-in DMX lighting — now's the time. Only 2 units left from next week's delivery, and after that it's over a month before we get more in.

First real-world outing for the Denon DJ Prime 4 G2 last night, DJing a wedding party at Killyhevlin in Enniskillen — Early verdict: a genuinely solid professional upgrade on the older Prime 4.

Now that I've had proper time on it in a live setting, I'll be following up with a more in-depth review video from the shop later this week covering everything I noticed 🎧

On the original Prime 4, the onboard FX engine wasn't routed onto channels fed by external phono or line sources so vinyl and connected media players were effectively locked out of the effects section. On the new G2, channels 3 and 4 still accept line or phono input, and the full onboard effects chain now runs on them the same as any other source.

So for anyone running a hybrid setup or still spinning vinyl, this closes a gap that's been there since the original Prime 4 launched.

Between the onboard Stems, the MPCe pads and that jog wheel display, it's a genuinely feature-packed unit. We've sold through stock again already, but more are landing next week, with only one unit available for preorder right now at AudioLevel DJ Store

Take 3 minutes and check out my first impressions of the Denon DJ Prime 4 G2 — straight out the box and into a few of the standout new features, including onboard Stems and the new multi-zone pads. The Denon DJ Prime 4 G2 has arrived and it's a proper step up from the original — onboard Stems rendering, 16 MPCe multi-zone pads, built-in DMX lighting control, all running on a new 8-core processor with four times the power. Denon DJ PRIME 4 G2 is officially here, and it's a proper step up from the original.

The headline for me: onboard Stems rendering with dedicated Instrumental/Acapella buttons and Stem-level EQ — real-time creative control most standalone units can't touch. Add the new MPC-style multi-zone performance pads (an industry first on a DJ controller), full-size 8" jog wheels, dual internal FX engines with 25+ effects, and a built-in DMX output for lighting, and you've got a genuinely complete four-deck rig.

OmniSource support for Serato, Algoriddim and VirtualDJ is coming later this year too, bridging standalone and software setups properly. Going to be spending a lot of time on this one.
