Last night we met up for an 'after-show' meal and catch up! 🍛🍺🍷😋

Even though it's only been a few days since our performances of 'We Will Rock You', it was so nice to see everyone! 😍

(Long post alert, please bear with us! 😂)

Back in 2024 when working together on another show, we had a crazy thought that maybe we could try putting on our own musical!

The original plan was to put on a fairly small scale musical to see how it went. Then, early in 2025, 'We Will Rock You' was released for amateur companies for the first time. It felt like a sign...did we dare take on such an iconic show??!! We tentatively submitted an application to perform it, and couldn't really believe it when it was approved!

'LS&D Productions' was born, and following a launch night and auditions in September 2025, we started rehearsals in October.

Without any funding behind us, taking this on was a hugely risky move for the three of us. Could we do it? Would we have a cast? Would we have an audience? Could we afford it?! Although there have been many challenges along the way, we've worked together to overcome these, and the end result has been better than we could have hoped for!

We're so grateful to the cast that have been part of the show for putting their faith in us and joining us in this new venture. We couldn't have asked for a better cast, including those in the principal roles and those in the ensemble. We really have become like a family - thank you all so, so much for believing in us! We're so proud of you all! 🥰

Thanks also to the crew and musicians who have taken part, to the theatre staff, and to everyone that bought a ticket to come and watch our performances - we're so grateful for your support!

Last but not least, thanks to the family and friends that have kept us going throughout the last few months, for believing in us when we needed it the most.

At the end of the day, we're just three friends who love musicals, who want to bring joy and happiness to others. We are truly humbled by the response we've had to 'We Will Rock You', and are so pleased that our first venture as LS&D Productions has been such a success!

'What's next?' is the question we've been asked numerous times over the last few days! Well, we're going to take a bit of time, then will put our heads together and start to plan our next project...one thing that's for sure is that this isn't the last you will hear from LS&D Productions! 👍

Last night we had our last 'WE WILL ROCK YOU' rehearsal at Ysgol Calon y Dderwen.🤘

Huge thanks to the school, and especially to Headteacher Carl Hyde, for helping us out with rehearsal space at very short notice when we unexpectedly had to move from our previous location back in the autumn. 🤩

We really are so grateful - we couldn't have put the show together without you! Thanks guys! 👏

Today we move into The Hafren Theatre Newtown to get ready for our performances this weekend...we're SOOO excited!! 👍
