What a weekend! Now we have had suitable time to rest and recover from our 3rd annual Glentrool Forest Festival, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved in this years festival.

Firstly, to our amazing volunteer team, this event simply wouldn't exist without you all. You dedicated your time leading up to, during and after this event and we are very grateful to have such a brilliant bunch of people supporting us.

To all of the activity providers, UnderSky, Galloway Forest Fibre, The Needle Tree, Nirvana Therapies, Way of the Wild, Swim The Lochs, Magpie Qigong, thank you so much for offering our visitors a new experience, skill or interest over the weekend.

To the very talented musicians that joined us over the weekend, Kissing The Flint, The Barrstools and Nathon Jones Music with Gallowgrass & Aaron Jones, thank you for the voices, pipes and banjos that filled our hall. Special mention to Andy Bain for his knowledge and skills figuring our our sound system!

To Five Kingdoms Brewery and Ayrshire Riviera C***r for supporting our event again this year, always appreciated.

And finally to everyone who came, ate, drank, enjoyed and danced, we hope to see you again next year!

🤩😀🌿🎶 What a weekend it's been, gotta love a full swing summer Festival season! Adrian and I had a wonderful time playing an acoustic show this afternoon at the Glentrool Forest Festival to a really lovely audience. What a fantastic job all of the Glentrool Hive staff, community volunteers and workshop hosts have done in organising and delivering another successful event this year. Will post a couple of wee vids in the next few days.

Ah Galloway, forever keeping us on our toes with the changing weather!

Fear not, we have moved our music indoors, and have plenty of shelter outside for the children to enjoy the UnderSky activities.

The Glentrool Hive Team are busy today setting up for another fantastic nature inspired weekend.

🍻Five Kingdoms Brewery are on their way with locally produced real ale on draught, and we have Ayrshire Riviera C***r nicely chilling ready for tomorrow - Open at 12 noon

🌮🥗🍰Our kitchen team are hard at work prepping delicious pulled pork, jackfruit or halloumi tacos and yummy homemade cakes and bakes - Available from 11am
