Sam Heughan, Nicola Sturgeon, Alan Titchmarsh and Steph McGovern are just a few of the award-winning writers, high profile politicians, TV and film celebrities attending this year’s Borders Book Festival.

The programme packs in fiction, live music, history, stand-up comedy, illustration, poetry, cookery, children’s stories and activities as well as serious global issues and debate, ensuring something for everyone to enjoy. For those unable to attend, many events are also available to watch online.

Harmony Garden and Orchard provide a beautiful backdrop in full bloom, where festival goers can find a peaceful spot to read, buy a book and have it signed, or find refreshment at the bars, food village, ice cream and coffee stops. Over the weekend, children’s events, and a large market selling local artisan products add to the unique atmosphere that the festival is renowned for.

The Borders Book Festival runs 11th to 14th June, with tickets available from
www.bordersbookfestival.org or by calling Citizen Ticket on 0131 290 2112.
