Does your dancer love performing? 💃🕺 Have they ever wanted to star in a professional pantomime? 🎭 Would they like the chance to shine on stage this Christmas time? ✨ Well now is the chance as ADA are holding auditions for this years production of ‘Robin Hood’ with Mendes Management Ltd which is taking place at Bishop Auckland Town Hall.

This amazing experience is open to all ADA girls aged 6 years+ (as of 1st December 2026) with a maximum height of 158cm. We are looking for 24 dancers in total!

🗓️ Auditions are taking place on Monday 15th June 2026 from 6pm to 7.30pm at the Middridge Village Hall (after show finale rehearsals).

A year ago today we first posted this powerful video with its message being just as powerful today! 🔪❤️‍🩹

Knife Crime is still a growing problem in our local area and as much awareness as possible on the dangers of knife crime is the only way to try and tackle it.

This video on this platform alone reached over 32000 views last year…let’s see if we can reach even more by giving it one more share! 🙌

One life lost, is one too many. 😇

Unbelievably proud to announce that Kitty Rae has been crowned the teen winner at West End Calling this evening! 🎤🎭

To get to the finals of such a HUGE prestigious competition across the whole Country is an incredible achievement but for her to be crowned the winner is next level! 👏🙌🫶

A huge well done Kitty!! Well and truly deserved! So, so proud of you!! 🥰

If you would like to see Kitty Rae do her thing, she will be performing at ADA’s dance show ‘Dancing Through Life’ on the 11th and 12th July at the Forum Theatre Billingham. Kitty last performed a solo for us when she was just 10 years old which was pure magic…you can only imagine how good she is now! 🙌✨

7 years ago since we collaborated with County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust and 3 Point Media to bring to life a special tribute to all of our wonderful NHS Nurses for their contribution, dedication and for playing such a vital role in our healthcare. 💙

I was honoured to be asked to choreograph such a special piece for IND2019 and even more honoured that our ADA students were stars in the music video along with nurses from CDDFT.

Can you recognise any of the little faces in the video? Many still come to ADA now including 6 of them currently being part of our Assistant Teacher team. How special! 🩷💙

🎉 INCREDIBLE EXAM NEWS FOR ADA! 🎉

A massive CONGRATULATIONS to all of our amazing dancers at Aycliffe Dance Academy for passing their IDTA International Dance Teachers Association exams with flying colours! 💃🕺✨

After months of hard work, dedication, determination (and lots of practice), we are beyond proud to announce a phenomenal 100% PASS RATE across ALL exams! 🙌

From graceful Ballet to rhythm-filled Tap, and from high-energy Street to show-stopping Theatre Craft — every single dancer stepped up and absolutely shone. 🌟 You were ALL superstars! 🌈

A big thank you to the most amazing teaching team for helping our ADA stars reach their full potential and be the best version of themselves they can possibly be. 💐

Your exam results, trophies 🏆 and certificates 📜 will be handed out in class next week!
