The last of our wonderful makers, finishing on a high with Sonya of :

“I am a Devon based printmaker, creating and designing lovely inky things at my kitchen table. I’m particularly interested in botanical forms and the flora and fauna to be found in my slightly wild country garden, in and around the hedgerows and the lanes where I live. I generally design and create lino prints but am also inspired by block printing on fabric and mono printed landscapes. I consciously try to be eco-friendly in my choice of materials and packaging.”

will be joining us this weekend with her coastal inspired jewellery:

“The textures created on the silver and the colours of the gemstones, pearls and beads I use are inspired by the ever changing movement and colours of the sea and the way it interacts with the coastline. Shimmering purples and oranges at sunset or dawn and pretty blues reflected from summer skies through to rough grey and white winter storms.
Every piece of jewellery is made by hand in East Devon using traditional methods and techniques learnt from attending a few evening classes and from books and online tutorials. Most of the learning and design process is done ‘at the bench’, by trial and error and experimentation. My designs are eye catching yet relatively simple and elegant making them easy to wear for any occasion.
I’m passionate about supporting small and local businesses and source my gemstones and recycled sterling silver from reputable UK suppliers whenever possible. “

A warm welcome back to the deliciously sweet treats of .kitchen :

“Welcome to Green Heart Kitchen. I hand make everything using the best ingredients I can find. Organic and fair trade. I make my own wild botanicals, foraging on Dartmoor to create my very special truffles. Which are deliciously plant based.”

Rob Sollis is another of our very local potters:

“I work from my pottery - the old Blacksmith’s ‘Linney’ which is adjacent to a brook flowing past the Combeinteignhead Artisan Market venue and my studio on its way down to the Teign estuary. It is such an idyllic spot to work here in the heart of rural Devon.
Specialising in hand-thrown Raku fired ceramics, distinctive studio art pots and elegant tableware, I am looking forward to meeting everyone at the weekend.”

Bringing some stunning knitwear to the hall we have Tracey Lord of :

“I’m a knitwear designer maker based in North Devon, specialising in accessories created from natural, sustainable fibres such as organic cotton and soft pure alpaca. My range includes adult beanies, berets, gloves, scarves, snoods and kids’ pixie hats. I’m descended from Lancashire weavers so textiles has always been in my blood - my first love is colour, whether it’s clashing and unexpected or quiet and subtle. Living in Devon offers an endless supply of inspiration on a daily basis, of colour and texture, line and form, how lucky we are! Everything from rusting boats to skeletal trees, lined pebbles to ocean sunsets informs my seasonal collections.“

This weekend! And another one of the many talented makers joining us is Sarah Ward of :

I have always been ecologically aware since I was a Blue Peter viewer in my childhood and since having children it was very important to me to live as chemically free as possible, motivating me to make my own cleaning products and cosmetics. Since I was a toddler plants were special, I loved being in the greenhouse where my pet spider and toad lived, even at two I was fitting the stereotype of a witch! I had always assumed everyone could communicate with plants the way I do, and I now allow them to guide me to create the products I make. I have an idea of what I want to create, for example a scent that invokes the energy of the Green man or captures a moment in time like Yule and the rest just comes, the plants will show themselves to me and we build from there until the balance is just right. It’s a collaboration between me and plant spirit!”

Always a firm favourite, and a Combeinteignhead resident, Angela Bennet will be back with her beautiful homewares:

“I create and decorate a variety of ceramic earthenware articles using a range of techniques all in accord with my current inspirations. I am intent on achieving the highest possible standard consistent with using a kick wheel and traditional decorating techniques.”

Lucy Turner of will be bringing her beautiful willow work:

“I live in North Devon and am passionate about making contemporary willow basketry using traditional and modern techniques. I’ve learned my craft via short courses, and have recently completed a three-year part-time City & Guilds in basketry in Shropshire in 2024.

I’m inspired by the material itself and the beautiful and subtle colours and texture it can have. I’ve spent five years establishing a sustainable willow bed at home and use this, other locally sourced willow, and willow from the traditional growers in Somerset to make my work. I make a range of baskets and sculptures and incorporate leather, fabric, and driftwood as handles and features.

As well as making work to sell at fairs and for commissions, I teach workshops including at the Plough at St Anne’s and the Burton in Bideford.”

Bringing some beautiful and whimsical work to the hall, we have :

“I am an illustrator based in Liverton at the foot of Dartmoor, a location providing endless inspiration for my artwork, which I create by hand-drawing in pen, along with some digital work. From my illustrations I create art prints and greetings cards to celebrate Devon’s beautiful landscapes and heritage buildings. As a contrast in my work I indulge my sense of humour by creating cute food characters which appear on mugs, notebooks, bookmarks and in 3 dimensional form as fully handmade, intricately hand-painted clay desk buddies. These popular characters make lovely gifts and always bring a smile to young and old alike!”
