Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II 1926 - 2022

It was with great sadness that we learnt of the passing of our Queen, Her Majesty Elizabeth II on Thursday of this week.

As Village Hall Trustees we would like to pay tribute to her incredible lifetime of service. She will always be the epitome of grace, dignity, strength and stabiliy, and a huge inspiration to us all. She leaves a legacy like no other.
We extend our heartfelt sympathy to The Royal Family at this profoundly sad time.

The Village Hall will continue to operate within the guidelines issued by the government and official period of mourning once details are known.

The recipients of the Abbotskerswell Community Cup this year are Chris, Belinda and all the staff at Central @ Model Stores in recognition of all they do for our community; not least for everything they did to look after us during the Covid pandemic. Thank you for being the best village shop we could possibly ask for 🏆💕

There are lots of Arts and Crafts classes to enter at the show, for adults and children, including painting, papercraft, embroidery, metal, glass, woodwork, pottery… if you are a crafter there is probably a category for you to enter. The full list is in the next edition of AbbTalk or you can pick up a leaflet from Central @ Model Stores or The Orchard Cafe & Crafts.
