Newquay Beer Festival The next Newquay Beer Festival takes place on Fri 18 to Sun 20 September 2026, and is a Lions charity event.

Newquay Towan Blystra Lions welcome you to the Newquay Beer Festival, an charity event where you can enjoy sampling a wide variety of different beers and ciders from across Cornwall and further afield - all whilst raising money for great local causes. It’s a must for beer and cider fans from near and far and, as a real bonus for those who love to soak up all the atmosphere and not worry about havi

ng to find their way home, there is onside camping and motorhome pitches at great prices. There’s great live music throughout the event plus Chrissie’s Sunshine Bar serving a variety of gins, fizz and other popular drinks, including zero % alcohol and soft drinks. There’s plenty of food options available with our festival site plus Hendra Holiday Park outlets providing some good variety. Held at Hendra Holiday Park, there’s the option to stay over so, if you fancy this too, give Hendra a ring on 01637 875778 and quote BF26 to get the best deals available. You can sign up for updates through our page so you will be in the know right up to the start of the event. Families are welcome but parts of the site will only be open to over 18s. However, because the festival is based at one of Cornwall’s top holiday parks there are loads of other attractions which younger people will be interested in as well as a wide range of eating options both on and off the festival site itself. Joe 90 & The Bucket Hats hit the Main Stage Festival Saturday and they told us how the band started;

"the band came together by chance......
Myself and Ade met about 12 years ago down in Redruth in another band that went nowhere and then by chance, about 6 years ago we ran into each other in Asda in St Austell.
Unbeknown to either of us we’d both moved to the St Austell area !

We started another Band which we were in for a couple of years that disbanded when Covid hit, so Ade and I started doing acoustic videos of classic 90s tracks under the name Joe 90s.

We had the idea of turning into a band and I’d met the Drummer Mike through an acquaintance on a night out, and then we advertised for a Bass player and Des came in and then the magic started to happen! Joe 90 & The Bucket Hats were born!!!

We have a love for the 90s britpop and indie scene that stretches into the early 2000s and all we want to do is put on a show for people to sing and dance to".

WHAT more could we ask for ? WE CAN'T WAIT !

CLOCK TICKING ON NEWQUAY BEER FESTIVAL 2026 EARLYBIRD TICKETS

Beer and music lovers have until 10am on Monday 7 September to take advantage of discounted Earlybird tickets for this year’s Newquay Beer Festival.

The popular charity festival returns to Hendra Holiday Park from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 September, with three days of beers and ciders, live music, food and entertainment.

Until the Earlybird deadline, admission for Friday or Saturday is £9.50 instead of £12, while Sunday admission is just £3.50 instead of £6. A three-day pass is available for £22.50 rather than the full £30 price. Booking fees apply.

Organised entirely by volunteers from Newquay Towan Blystra Lions Club, our festival has become firmly established in the town’s calendar since it was first held in 2013 and has now raised more than £130,000 for good causes.

This year visitors can once again expect a broad choice of cask and keg beers and ciders, together with gin, fizz, lager and low and non-alcoholic alternatives. Food will be available throughout the weekend, while a packed programme of local singers, bands and other performers will provide live entertainment across all three days.

And, we shall retain the friendly and relaxed atmosphere that has helped make it so popular, with many visitors returning year after year.

Under-18s are admitted free when accompanied by an adult, making the event accessible to families as well as beer festival enthusiasts. Well behaved dogs are also welcome to accompany their owners if so wished.

NBF2026 is only 4 weeks away !
On Sunday (20th sept), our dear friend Paula Marcelis both comperes the main stage, and, leads her headlining band SUBSTITUTE to close the festival.

The five-piece local cover and party band were formed in January 2024, and perform a diverse mix of rock, pop, and party hits from the 1960s onward, ranging from ABBA to ZZ Top. Their energetic style creates a great atmosphere !
