Calling all bands, singer songwriters, acoustic legends, live performers, bedroom singers and solo artist! TAG YOUR BAND/STAGE NAME BLEOW! It’s a great optimist to have a live performance professionally recorded, mic and mastered ready for instant release on socials in collaboration with Prow Media. It’s an honour to be in a position to be able to offer this out to you and I don’t want hear afterwards “I didn’t see it until it was too late!”.

Drop your music page in the comments below and on Sunday I’ll pick one person at random to come and record a live acoustic session with Camp Curnow Records completely free of charge!

I asked “Are you nervous Sam?” He replied “Nope!”

Look at this guy!! An absolutely icon who’s folk, story telling in song has been quietly making waves across Cornwall!

Playing festivals such as Little Orchard Cider & Music Festival and hot off the stage from The Great Estate, he’s is truly making waves 💪🏼

Sam has only been playing the guitar since lockdown and quickly discovered his talent in song writing after resonating to artist such as Bob Dylan and Ralph McTell!

Such wise head on some young shoulders and that’s what Camp Curnow is all about… putting the spotlight on those who want it, need it, deserve it!

No… he didn’t sign to the label 😂 but he was an absolute gentleman!!

A real cherry on the top to a lush weekend watching incredible performances with friends, collages and work buddy’s.

Prow Media did a sterling Job in the Octopus Lounge filming all the acoustic, striped back performances! Proud to be apart of an honest team that under promises and over delivers every time 🫶🏼

Went out for dinner with footballer Sébastien Bassong in the week! Very inspiring life story and career after football that he’s gone on to live… We headed over Keltek Brewery for the launch of there new 0.5% Wave Breaker and then off to record a live session with well known folk singer Sam Lisle part of Camp Curnow Records collaborations with Prow Media 🖤

The talent in in Cornwall is disgusting 😅

… I said to Simon Cowell “if you think I’m good, you should see my friends”. Yesterday in collaboration with prow.media we bought together some delicious acoustic goodness, popped them in a room full of glorious guitars at martell_vintage_guitars show at prowpark.newquay and let them go to work.

while cameras rolled and microphones listened, I just watched in awe..

I know what I’m doing is right because of the butterfly feelings I got in my stomach recording, listening, talking to them individually about there struggles being totally over come by the passion and love for what they do.

Exchanging stories of exhaustion and fatigue in the industry and what dose “Made It” actually look like…?

I came out of that session just feeling so proud. I can’t put my finger on where that pride was aimed at, what we just achieved, the camaraderie, the team? I’m still not 100% sure but I left with a hug from each and everyone of that was involved with smiles thanking each other.

I got to admit - I felt just as nervous setting all this up, “who are you to think you can help these wonderful creatives…” but working with the likes of tam.johnstone on audio and jaaykennett we could have only done good! , tomcary_official, Sonny Palmer & baysings13 thank you for giving us your precious time and trusting us with your scrumptious music!
