Spring is a time for new beginnings...and as we say farewell to Orchard Voices, we are happy to be creating Cornwall Choir Collective's first 'evening edition' in its place.

TUESDAYS from 7.30pm at the Concho Lounge, Newquay!

We'll be there tonight for an end-of-springaling Singaling and invite anyone to join us. It'll be karaoke style tonight, and then back to 'normal' (as normal as we get) next week.

No choirs in Newquay this week (18th March), as I'm 'down Redruth' for a First Aid Course (which I hope I'll never have to use).
Members - I have sent an email out with a couple of video guides, should you wish to do something song-based instead of our usual choir session. Or just meet up for drinks & quizzing!

And I will be running a session on 15th April (which would have been our week off for Easter).

I shall miss you! Love Jo x

Lots of people couldn’t make it this week, so we were down to just 10, but still managed 3-part harmony ✨ Not the best quality recording (!) but wanted to highlight the Tenors ‘Mcflying’ (thank you to Tom for that one) 👏🔥🎵💚

Always a jolly & heart-warming occasion, where you might find some of the resident 'house' choir members amongst the wassailers...
Unfortunately, Jo is in London so the choir won't be performing this year, but she will miss it muchly and will raise a glass for everyone!

If you fancy joining us for our equally nourishing TUESDAY evenings then we'd love to see you. It's set to be a super FEEL GOOD term, with songs to include Blame it on the Boogie & All About You (McFly), and something more folky in the mix too.

Third performance of the weekend! The storm has calmed a bit today, although the windows behind us were slightly rattly at times. That didn’t put anyone off though, and we had a lovely time. The audience seemed to enter into the spirit of things too.

Here is June, one of our sopranos (who used to sing with her husband & band in the East End) showing off her moves & doing her best to teach me. June is now living with dementia, and music is a great comfort to her. As you can see, she is a lot of fun - see what she does at the ‘boughs of holly’ bit! 🎄

Shout out to our Tenor section for being pretty in sync with the choreography too! 👏

And thank you to all the gorgeous choir members who make my job an absolute dream 🥰

A very special & beautiful moment at Orchard Voices this week, as we bid farewell to Laura & Kat, making the move back to Australia. Shout out to our lone soprano, Jill, who did a great job, having never sung this one before! It wasn’t all serious though, as many laughs & Prosecco also featured 🎶🌳🎃🔥🍂🥂 We’ll miss you (ya flamin’ galas)! ♥️
