This coming Saturday is the first of our Advanced Level Line Dance Workshops....are here are your teaches for the day! Come and learn 2 brilliant dances. Our new dance is "Gospel Alive", by Jose Miguel Belloque Vane & Jean-Pierre Madge, to a great Gospelly (is that a word?) version of Staying Alive. And for the classic we have the gorgeous "I Held Your Hand" by Merete Sevel & Niels Poulsen, set to the haunting track "My Immortal" by Evanescence. Two very different dances, but equally great fun.
Over the course of the afternoon we will have full teaches of both dances, and the chance to do them to music multiple times, as well as a little bit of social dancing around the teaches.
So come along, give them a go, challenge yourself to learn something a little harder than the norm, and you never know what skills you might unlock!

Reminder of our upcoming Neon Star Line Dancing dates.
We've got the first Advanced Level Workshop next Saturday (8th Aug), where you can learn 2 brilliant dances (announcing soon, going to keep you in suspense a little longer)
Then we've got our next All-Request Social on the 12th September. Yes that's right, all-request means you pick the playlist!
Both take place in the wonderful Howe Croft Community Centre, which is spacious, and has a great dancefloor. And even better, it's bring your own drinks, so no need to budget for having to spend extra money at a bar! (We will have bottled water available, once again at a price well below your average charge)
There really is no better way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Tonight in the Improver class we took on and smashed Rob Fowler new dance "She's A Twister"
So good we danced it 3 times!!
