The Apollo Youth Theatre is a thriving theatre group that gives young people the opportunity to learn an array of stage craft techniques through devising, improvisation and script work; all whilst exploring different theatrical styles and practitioners to put on a variety of productions throughout the year. We run sessions most Saturday mornings from 10am - 12noon and invite anyone between the age

s of 8 and 20 to come and join us! Everybody should have the chance to be involved, which is why we only charge £5 per term. The youth theatre is lucky to work alongside numerous creative professionals in fields such as illustration, animation, film, music, technology and of course theatre. As a result of this, our productions are written and produced solely by our team and the youth theatre itself, giving greater creative control to our members and allowing them to learn invaluable production skills.

When Creaturama at Arreton Barns asked for some actors for their special Dragon Week, we had no idea how hot this week would be. Our young actors did an amazing job in extremely hot weather. A huge thank you to all of those who donned the heavy costumes and entertained the crowds.

Important information
Unfortunately, due to the installation of Scaffolding for the next production at Apollo. We are unable to use the theatre on Saturday. I had hoped to find us alternative accommodation for the day, but that hasn't been possible. We will return next week as normal.
