Please Eat Before Your Piercing!

Just a little reminder from us due to a recently unpleasant experience where a client was upset with us after we had to postpone their piercing because they hadn’t eaten.

We completely understand that this can be disappointing, especially when you’ve been looking forward to your appointment. However, eating a substantial meal before your piercing is incredibly important.

Having something to eat beforehand can help your body cope with the experience and reduce the likelihood of feeling faint, dizzy, nauseous or unwell during or after your piercing. We want you to have the safest, most comfortable experience possible and sometimes that means we have to say “not today, until you’ve eaten.”

!! Please don’t rely on just a coffee, energy drink or a small snack. Have a proper meal before coming in and make sure you’re well hydrated too. !!

If you arrive for your piercing and haven’t eaten sufficiently, we may need to postpone your piercing until you have had something substantial to eat. This isn’t us being difficult or trying to disappoint you it’s us putting your health and wellbeing first.
