Breast Cancer Now

Behind the Scenes: The Incredible Team Behind Our Big Day! 🍰🎤

✨While our summer afternoon tea fundraiser for breast cancer now effortless, full of beautiful singing and delicious treats, it truly took a village to bring it all together!

Today, we want to throw it back and give a massive shout-out to our incredible "behind-the-scenes" crew.

Swipe through to see some of our amazing family members, partners, sons, and their girlfriends who jumped right in to help! From setting up tables and brewing endless pots of tea to washing up and making sure everyone was looked after, they worked tirelessly to ensure our socialising was the absolute best time. We couldn't have done it without your energy, smiles, and hard work!

❤️Because of this amazing team effort and your unbelievable generosity, our total has continued to climb! We have now raised a staggering £1,469 (plus £311 in Gift Aid) for Breast Cancer Now! 💖🎉

Smashing our original £1,000 target by this much is mind-blowing, and it's all thanks to this wonderful community.

🎉 WHAT A NIGHT! 🧠🏆

Our Allegra Quiz Night last Night was an absolute blast!

We had around 30 of our amazing members, friends, and family packed into the room for an evening of brilliant trivia, endless laughs, and fantastic socialising.

🥂💬The format worked beautifully, with a great mix of different rounds ensuring absolutely everyone could get involved and contribute.

The real game-changer was the strategic "joker" card, which gave teams a chance to double their points on a single round—leading to some high-stakes moments (especially for the lucky team that played theirs on a perfect 10/10 round!).

🃏✨Between the fierce but friendly competition, a fantastic raffle, and plenty of catching up, the energy in the room was incredible. And, of course, a huge congratulations to the self-proclaimed "most intelligent team" who took home the crown! 🥇😉

A massive thank you to our wonderful Linda for creating a fabulous quiz and Sam and Rhi for helping to create a perfect evening. Thanks to everyone who came along, bought raffle tickets, and brought such wonderful team spirit.

Events like this remind us that while we love singing together on Wednesday nights, we love the community and lifelong friendships we build just as much. 💗

What a gorgeous evening we had at Choir in the Park yesterday. It was such a joy to perform, to listen to the other brilliant choirs, and to be part of a community event right on our doorstep.

A huge thank‑you to Matthew Pimm and everyone involved in organising such a fantastic night. The atmosphere, the music, the welcome were so lovely. We’re very lucky to have this in Beechwood Park!
