The Dolman Theatre is owned and run by Newport Playgoers Society. It was opened in 1967 and still serves the local community almost 55 years on. You will find plays, musicals and shows being performed at the Theatre almost every week. The venue is used every day, though - there are always rehearsals and classes happening. The theatre is also available to hire. Contact us if you're interested.

🎄 PLAYGOERS MUSICAL COMPANY is searching for our Tiny Tim!

🎵 We’re staging Scrooge by Leslie Bricusse from 25th–28th November, and we’re looking for a boy aged 7–10 with a clear singing voice to bring this iconic role to life on the Dolman Theatre stage.

🎭 If you know a young performer who’d shine in this heartwarming Christmas classic, we’d love to hear from you.
