Painless Parties Painless Parties was founded in 2002 by Nick Painless to host and participate in events throughout the UK and beyond

Painless Parties was founded in 2002 by Nick Painless to host events in England, Scotland, Wales and the rest of the known universe

These events come in two main forms, the first of which is the Boiler Room which consist of live bands with a heavy metal soundtrack played by Nick himself. The second is The Black Cat and Top Hat which are burlesque and cabaret shows which have a dark twist to their nature

Over the years Painless Parties has had great levels of success from playing DJ slots at various venues such as The Purple Turtle and Club Anti-Christ both in London, Whitby Gothic Festival and the now sadly departed TJ’s which was in Newport, Wales

DJ work isn’t the only thing that Painless Parties has tapped into over the years as Nick has appeared on BBC 3’s Snog, Marry, Avoid where he taught P.O.D a lesson or two. He was also requested to appear on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent where he performed several demonstrations from his circus side show Organ Grinder

If you are feeling brave enough you can even hire Painless Parties to perform at your wedding, funeral or other private function of your choosing

Useless Information - A rainbow on Venus is called a glory.

Appearing as a series of coloured concentric rings, these are caused by the interference of light waves within droplets, rather than the reflection, refraction and dispersion of light that makes a rainbow

In 2027, Painless Parties will celebrate 25 years of hosting events, and I believe that a show from The Black Cat and Top Hat would be the perfect way to commemorate this milestone.

My question is: If I were to organise a charity event to celebrate 25 years of Painless Parties, who would be interested in participating?

The exact date and location of the event are still to be determined, as I am currently in the brainstorming phase of this project.

For those who are curious, the charity in question would be either Mind or Dementia UK.

What do you all think?

Useless Information - LEGO bricks withstand compression better than concrete.

An ordinary plastic LEGO brick is able to support the weight of 375,000 other bricks before it fails. This, theoretically, would let you build a tower nearing 3.5km in height
