Meet Director of NONaffArt — Tania Bryan aka T Bryan Fine Art 🎨
Tania graduated from Howard Gardens UWIC in 2006 with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art Painting and Drawing, later achieving a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. She went on to lecture in Fine Art at a local college, building over 20 years of experience across Further and Higher Education.
In 2018, Tania founded NONaffArt, driven by a passion to support both local and wider creative communities. Her work focuses on nurturing emerging artists and graduates, helping to sustain a thriving creative culture that feeds back into the wider arts industry.
A practising artist based in Caerphilly Borough, Tania has led numerous community and sculpture projects in collaboration with organisations including Caerphilly Council, the Arts Council of Wales, and Newbridge Memo.
Wellbeing is at the heart of her work. In 2020, she helped develop the first COVID outdoor land art installation at Cwmcarn Forest, in partnership with Cwtsh Wellbeing Network. She is also widely recognised for her large-scale willow sculptures “Bran’s Swarm of Bee” and “Bran’s Treasure”.
From 2023–2025, Tania directed two major sculptural works at Cwmcarn Forest: “Bran’s Foot” and “Cauldron of Rebirth.”
Her work has gained international recognition, including exhibiting at Art Padova, Venice (2022), and being shortlisted for the London Biennale 2025.
Alongside directing and teaching, Tania continues her own artistic practice—embracing a playful and exploratory approach. Her work spans realism, life drawing, landscape, and abstraction, rooted in strong traditional and classical techniques.
