So, who are the Where Two Rivers Meet team? We thought some introductions were in order!

Ryan Pink and Leon Hudston are the dynamic duo behind Parklife festival all those years ago, and pioneered the now famous open mic night The Sunset Lounge. Born and bred in Newport Pagnell and the surrounding villages, these beautiful souls are community minded, golden hearted locals who support arts and music in our town! Professor Pink is the methodical thinker, the gentle negotiator and Leon the quick minded driver that gets sh*t done, and a great local musician too!

Daniela Bove-Pope, local therapist and musician is a powerhouse who can juggle a gazillion things at once, creative curator and has the determination to see things through. Passionate about community, the arts, music and nature, she brings all of it together, and her years as a musician in London to pull in some stellar artists!

Married to Daniela is Stefan Pope, the details and music tech man, a musician and another golden soul who irons out all of the finer points, making things run smoothly. Stef is our go to for the music gear too, running his own music studio shop for decades!

And last but by no means least we have Rich ‘Rise Bailey Rise’ Patmore, another beautiful soul, reliable, prepared to dig in and help with anything and everything, stlll active in the local music scene he brings in all the local talent and is a genuinely lovely human.

The inspiration for these nights we put on came from our dear friend Helen Parlor, International choreographer and founder of the charity , who we sadly lost on 30th May 2023. At her funeral, her husband Steve asked that in honour of Helen’s passion for music and the arts we all support them more, especially in our local community. So as a group of friends, we put our heads together and Where Two Rivers Meet was born ❤️
