So thats a wrap... or is it? The official .artists art trail has come to an end.

I want to extend my thanks to the entire faropen team who do such a great job in facilitating this. I'm sure it can't be easy. And another thanks to all of the fab team at the george for hosting us.

However for those of you who couldn't make the trail or couldn't face the heat last week you still have time to view my and ellie's work at the george. Yes we have a mini stay of ex*****on and although we won't be there all the time you can still see our work hanging in the business hub and gallery upstairs.

It's the final weekend of the .artists art trail in the forest of dean and wye valley. As you know I am exhibiting in the with .

I know it is hot 🥵🥵🥵, I know you would rather be sat in a pool with a large g&t (as would i 🤣🤣) but all of the artists on the trail would really appreciate it if you managed to visit🙏🙏🙏

The george has a great cafe for food and more importantly **COLD** drinks 🧋🥤🧊, we have fans 💨🌬and there are 2 other venues in close proximity. There is the a stone's throw away, ready and waiting with iced water, and also .

I will be at the gallery from 8.30am if you wanted to beat the worst of the heat!

This is one of my latest pieces you can see at my and exhibition as part of the farOpen Art Trail & Artists open studios art trail in the forest of dean and wye valley.
There are loads of fab artists and creative's work to see on the trail so why don't you come and take a look. It makes a fab day out.

We are showing at the The George Community Hub in newnham on severn and are open daily from 9-5pm until 12th July.

Newnham is host to other far open members such as The Sanctuary Studio & Gallery and and the george has a cafe downstairs serving breakfast, brunch, lunch and drinks.

There is a vintage homewares store baileys next door selling lots of great curiosities. It is also on the banks of the river Severn if you fancy a little stroll after.

Another sale yesterday! A big thanks to annabel who bought this painting of cairndow in Scotland. I thought it was the brecons but after finding the original photo realised it was from one of our favourite trips on the NC500 in our campervan.

So the preview exhibition has started!! Until saturday it is just my work whereupon I will then be joined by the fabulous E l e a n o r W o o l l e y for the farOpen Art Trail & Artists trail running from 4th to the 12th July.

Please do come and visit. It is my first exhibition in 2 years!! I've missed you!

You can find us at the The George Community Hub- a great community hub in the heart of newnham.

If you are visiting the trail our nearest neighbours are The Sanctuary Studio & Gallery and Annie Brennan who are definitely worth a visit.

This week i will be open from 9 until 4pm daily and check out the interactive brochure on the faropen website for times during the open studios.

So its less than 3 weeks until the faropen studios event.... which js very exciting!
I feel woefully underprepared so I need to do a good push to get myself to the finish line.
I shall be exhibiting with the fab E l e a n o r W o o l l e y in the The George Community Hub in Newnham on severn from 4th-12th July

After the realisation that it is just over a month until my exhibition at the I have given myself a kick up the backside and started to plan in earnest. So a productive day was spent deciding on pieces to show, cutting mounts and framing them up. Here is a brief glimpse of some of the ones I have chosen. A selection of oil sketches from my travels. We have some from Provence, Scotland, Wales and of course my constant muse- The Forest of Dean.

Please do come and see them in person.

The dates are 29th June - 10th July at the George Cafe in Newnham on severn. A beautiful village in the heart of the forest. You can certainly make a day of it as there is another fabulous gallery , a cafe, various pubs, a deli and stunning walks along the river.

I will also be exhibiting with the talented at the same location during the .artists art trail running from 4th July!
