🎭 Calling all North East Musical Theatre Societies! 🎭

Think you know your Schwartz from Sondheim? Your Glinda from Gavroche? It’s time to put that lifelong love of all things show business to the test and raise some funds at the inaugural Big North East Musical Theatre Quiz Night!

Gather up a team from your society and join fellow performers from across the region to battle it out and be crowned the winner. Whether you’re a lifelong theatre fanatic or are simply looking for a good night out with your cast mates, this is the perfect opportunity to get together and celebrate everything we love about musical theatre while helping support theatre opportunities to children and young people in the North East.

The theatre was alive with beautiful new sound last night for the audition workshop for PARADE. It was wonderful to see so many current, new, and returning faces to the theatre; thank you all for joining us for a lovely evening.

📣FINAL REMINDER - WORKSHOP THIS SUNDAY 17:00

Don’t forget that this Sunday is our pre-audition workshop for PARADE!

➡️SWIPE for the map of where to find us- you can get to the theatre by either of the red ❌ marked doors. Please note, parking is limited, so use the car parks marked on the map and walk in. Leave yourself plenty of time to find us, if you have not visited the theatre before (accessible via St Nicholas Hospital).

🎭Just over two weeks until our pre-audition workshop for our winter production of PARADE!

We’re now turning our attention to Lucille Frank, wife of Leo. We’re looking for female performers who feel they can depict the unthinkable emotion of supporting a spouse accused of murder.

Interested? Join us at our audition workshop on the 5th of July to learn the extracts in a fun and informal environment, then sign up to audition on the 11th of July.

There will also be opportunity to learn extracts for many of the other characters we are looking to cast! 🎭
