JOIN THE KULT. ☕️ We’re hiring!

We’re looking for an Operations Lead to help run our independent coffee shop in Gosforth and play a big part in what comes next.

Confident, organised and good with people? We’d love someone who gets stuck in, supports the team and brings ideas to make the day-to-day running of KULT even better.

Previous supervisory, team leader or management experience would be ideal, with coffee or hospitality experience a bonus.

📍 KULT, Gosforth
⏰ Approx. 25 hours per week, flexible across our opening hours, including weekdays and weekends.

There’s plenty of room to make your mark and grow with the business.

Thank you for everyone who attended the gin tasting event ran by Phil

It was great to learn more about the gins and the knowledge and enthusiasm Phil has for the drinks is outstanding. The food and cocktails made up by the brilliant David & Sabrina at KULT. were amazing (the last cocktail was lethal!).

Love the events upstairs at KULT and we have more in the pipeline coming up soon 🙌🍸🧀

Anyone out tonight on Gosforth High Street? Our ‘speak easy’ upstairs in the coffee shop is somewhere special if you haven’t been. We are trialling this to see if people want a pre drink or some light snacks whilst out and about.

Draft beers, excellent wines, great music and a relaxed atmosphere all here from 6pm. Tell a friend to join us at KULT.

☀️ Welcome, August! ☀️

Can you believe we're already in August? This year is flying by!

If your Chatty Table feels a little quieter over the next few weeks, please don't be disheartened. 💛

Every year we see a natural dip during the summer holidays. People are away on holiday, spending time with family, looking after children or grandchildren, or simply making the most of the warmer weather.

This is completely normal.

The conversations you've created throughout the year still matter, and your Chatty Table is still making a difference, even on the quieter days.

Before long, September will be here. As routines return and the evenings begin to draw in, we see more and more people looking for connection, companionship and somewhere they know they'll receive a warm welcome.

Those autumn and winter months can be some of the most important times for a Chatty Table.

So, if just one person walks through your door looking for a friendly face, you've already made a difference.

Thank you to every volunteer and every venue that continues to show up, offer a smile and make time for a conversation. Together, we're creating communities where everyone feels they belong.
