Gold: A Journey Through Layers

Thiago Ponsancini returns with his second abstract art exhibition — this time a tribute to the country that shaped his childhood memories, Brazil. This collection of work is influenced by the gold rush towns of Minas Gerais, the drama of baroque architecture and its vast landscapes. These elements come together through bold textures, metallics, and layered colours, each painting rich with textural elements and stories. Conveying movement, beauty, and memory, the collection is indicative of the artist’s emotional journey. Ultimately, ‘Gold: A Journey Through Layers’ is a celebration of identity, heritage, and the stories we carry — told not through words, but through layers on canvas.
