As Tyne Theatre & Opera House's community of in-house companies expands, develops and goes from strength to strength, we’re taking the next step in bringing them closer together.

From Monday (7th September), updates for all the theatre's companies will be shared in one place.

The Tyne Theatre Companies page will showcase the work of each company, share what’s coming next and highlight ways to get involved.

From next week, this page will no longer be updated, so make sure you follow Tyne Theatre Companies to keep up with all the latest news and updates.

Have you heard? Our Tyne Theatre Companies are expanding!

Our brand new musical initiative Tyne Theatre Show Band (TTSB) is launching in September 2026! 🎺

TTSB will provide musicians with opportunities to rehearse, perform and collaborate as part of the theatre’s wider programme, celebrating musical theatre, jazz and big band repertoire.
