I've never been very good at asking for help.
I've always been the person who tries to show up for others, offer support, lend an ear and help wherever I can.
But recently, life threw something at me that I couldn't simply push through.
I suffered a serious injury to my right hand and have undergone surgery to repair the damage.
For me, as a tattoo artist, my hands are everything. They are how I create, how I connect with people and how I make a living.
Right now, I’m facing a long road of recovery and rehabilitation before I can get back behind the tattoo machine.
The difficult reality of being self-employed is that when I can't work, I don't earn. But the everyday costs of life continue.
Setting up this fundraiser wasn't an easy decision, but sometimes we all need a little support from the people around us.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of supporting many people through difficult chapters of their lives. Whether through tattooing, conversations, recovery journeys or simply being there when someone needed it.
Now, I'm asking if my community can be there for me.
If you're able to donate, every single contribution will help me cover essential costs while I recover and give Sacred Arts the best chance of continuing while I'm away from tattooing.
If this post finds you via Instagram: link to donate can be found via my bio

If donating isn't possible, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much.
The support, messages and kindness I've already received have honestly been overwhelming, and I'm incredibly grateful for every single person who has reached out.
I'm determined to come back stronger, rebuild my hand and get back to doing what I love.
Thank you for standing beside me.
With gratitude,
Jason ❤️
