Thank you to our Board of Trustees
Dear Skimstone and FB Friend,
Skimstone Arts has now formally closed after celebrating our 18 year journey of working with amazing regional, national and international artists, arts projects and communities.
We wish to celebrate the fantastic behind the scenes work of our Board of Trustees, led by Simon James, our very special Chair.
From April 2023 we have worked together with this dedicated Board of Trustees, who have shown great care, understanding, responsibility and commitment, along with such an incredible amount of skill and knowledge.
We are very grateful to Simon James, Carol Candler, Lya Vollering, Jess Johnson, Talha Ozleblebici and Angela Mortimer for guiding and supporting us on this final journey.
Also..a big thank you to Julie Maxwell, our Financial Administrator.
We celebrated with a final AGM and Board Meeting, an exchange of gifts, including Carol’s amazing knitted jumper for Claire, and a recorded video for Claire and Peter by each Trustee.
We finished with a lovely meal at Kiln Cafe in the Ouseburn Valley.
A very special way to celebrate great leadership and governance.
