Here as promised for you gorgeous lot is a “look” I did a while back which was inspired around my favourite food.

It just happened that my fave food is one of my Momma Zeneca’s legendary roast dinners with extra gravy.

The “look” got pretty messy!

I’d completely forgotten about these pics.
Check out my Yorkshire pudding hat, cabbage leaf bra, and also my cabbage dress, which sadly fell apart when I put it on so I had to improvise with a green swimsuit.

Thought it was appropriate to share this on a Sunday.

Who's ready for some 🏳️‍⚧️Pride🏳️‍🌈 related content?
For those that don't know it's Pride Month around the world and () () UK Pride in Newcastle later next month.

In celebration of all the q***r communities across the world I've been working on a Pride look for you all, selecting some new divalicious garments, collabing with a gorgeous trinkets maker, picking out a new weave, and learning a brand new lip sync or 2 for you.

Selfishly it's also to celebrate the end of my 20 odd years career supporting the q***r communities across the North East of England (and a little bit across the UK) and working with some absolutely amazing and inspirational young people.

I've popped a poll on my stories if you have a minute to vote.

Throughout the month I will be posting bits of Pride related info, polls, stories, and sharing personal stories and opening up conversations between us all.

I know it's like preaching to the choir. By the very fact that you’re here showing me so much support, showing love, and making this queen feel a little bit special you've already shown how absolutely fabulous you are!

It doesn't mean that Pride related conversations should stop happening.
We aren't there as a world just yet.

I'm also going to be laying myself out there to answer any questions you may have. Mind not literally... this is Instagram not Only Fans 😂.
It could also be questions that any of your q***r friends or family may have. If I know the answer or can speak from experience I will.
Maybe through a video post or (dare I say it), even a LIVE!!!

Hello my beautiful loves, how are you all?
Sorry for my little bit of a disappearing act.
Long story short it included paramedics, 2 rounds of antibiotics, and lots of rest... but I'm on the mend (slowly).
What a way to cheer me up and lift my energy.
My gorgeous friends have included me in their brand new cook book.
If you've not checked them out get over on to their page.
These beautiful boys not only have tasty and healthy creations, they actually practice what they preach and have lost sooooo much weight and are living a healthier life.
Truly inspirational!
I need to bloody start following their recipes and get some of this 'lockdown lard' off me lol.
Seriously though, thank you so much lovely cubs.
I'm so moved and over the moon for my mention.
That drag make over is here ready and waiting anytime you want it.
Soon as I'm feeling better I will be getting my drag back on and putting something together for you all.

I want to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to you all for the amazing comments and messages of love that I’ve received this week on my ‘falliversary’.

Eeh you are a bloody lovely lot! 🥰.
I was touched by all of the lovely things you had to say to me.

I never thought I year ago when I shoved (a very bad) wig on and messed about with some lippy that I would become friends with a group of such lovely people.

Well what a year it’s been!!!
From Astrid’s birth way back in February until now..what a ride 😍.
Never did I think when I started popping a bit of lippy that I would meet so many lovely people and receive so many amazing messages of love and support.
I’ve always set out to make people smile and she came from a place of wanting to lift peoples spirits and energy in this difficult time we are all going through.
I’ve had so many amazing comments and messages sent to my inbox that have really touched my heart.
Thank you all so much for letting me know what you’re enjoying me do and the ways it’s lifting you up a bit.
It means the absolute world.
My amazing Momma always brought me up to be kind, to be helpful to others, and to smile because it can lift you and others up.
Moving into 2022 I’ve got a ton of ideas, some new hair and dresses to show you, and hopefully plenty more smiles and laughter to send your way.
Thank you all again so very much!

I would just like to take the opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas in advance for the 25th.

You’ve made an old queen feel so much love and support this year.
It’s blown my mind how many of you have joined in with me over the last 10 months.
I created Astrid to lift peoples spirits during lockdown 2 in England. Never did I think that I would also have my spirits lifted in my doing so.

If the last couple of years has taught us anything it’s that we need to support each other and show each other kindness and love.
I have filmed a lip sync and had hoped to get it posted for you in time for Christmas but I’m engrossed in cuddles with my 15 month old nephew.
I’ve only met him 3 times in his short life due to covid and it got me thinking not only about the hearts and minds of our adult communities but also the hearts and minds of our children and young people.

I guess what I’m trying to say is please check in on people. Check how people are feeling, let the people in your life know that they can speak to you if they need to, that you’re there for them for anything they need, and look out for signs of change because asking for help is difficult at the best of times, in times of need it’s super hard.

Happy Holidays to all my amazing and wonderful friends and followers 🎄💗.
As promised I’ve made a little bit of new content for you all.
Starting with this online Christmas Card to you all.

Thank you so so much for all of the love and positive energy you’ve sent my way… that’s the best present an old queen can ask for 👑🎁.

We may not know what the weeks to come will bring due to Omicron but what we can know for sure is that with love in our hearts, positive energy, and collectively supporting each other we will get through best we can.

My page has always been about not only some fabulousness and glitter but also a place of support and sharing positive energy.
This time of year can be the best time and the worst time dependent on how you’re feeling.

So please let’s all agree to come together and support each other.

‘Ello my beautiful bunch!
How are y’all doing?
I thought I should post a little update to let you all know what’s happening and also to stay in touch with you all.
Actually, I was prompted to do this post by a lovely message I received this afternoon to check in on how I am doing.
Can I first of all thank you for each and every one of you that took the time to message me and comment on my posts whilst I’ve been infected with Covid-19.
They all meant the world to me and gave me such a boost.
So I’m no longer testing positive but I’m absolutely floored from having the virus.
I’ve got very little energy, I’ve got more brain fog than I had before, my moving about is much worse than it normally is which means more falls, I ache all over (some of which I blame the falls for), my breathing is still not so good so I’m using my inhaler more, and I’m getting palpitations which I thought was due to anxiety but now I’m not so sure.
As you all will know, this is a space about positivity and a place of love and caring. It’s also a place where we are open about mental health because I believe in speaking openly about it.
I have no issue in sharing my battle with anxiety, and being infected from going out of the house one time in almost 2 weeks has spiked my anxiety…but I’m pushing myself by trying to go out of the house.
I’m off out tomorrow, I’m going to treat myself to some new nail varnish.. why not, that’s my treat for pushing myself. I believe we should reward ourselves when we achieve the smaller things in life because they can often feel massive for us to do.
I wanted to also let you know that I have some ideas/plans for lip syncs and some ‘looks’ to serve for you.
I’ve got some new hair, one of which I’ve posted a pic for you all to see.
As soon as I’ve mustered up to energy to do this for you I will do see and hopefully enjoy.
I’ve got a little something something planned for the holidays too…when I’ve got the energy.
I love making things for you all and really can’t wait to get back to it for you.
I want to thank you for your patience and the love you’ve sent my way.
You truly are gorgeous people 💋🥰
