Creative Space Announcement:
On the 23rd of October we will be hosting two lovely creatives. Scott is also bringing back some old friends of Tuna Mayo Studios with him! ( )

Expect late 60s/early 70s folk rock vibes. Debuting a set of new songs, Scott will be accompanied by Jenni Mac and members of Psydove/Firesites in the first Scott Free full band performance to date

Sahar will be talking about how mental health has effected her practice as a painter
"These creative processes encouraged self-expression, promoted self-awareness and increased insight, in the context of a reparative therapeutic relationship, finally enhancing my psychological wellbeing. Colours allow me to focus on the relationship between the image and myself, the creator, throwing out, through paint, all the rage, sorrow and excitement simultaneously."

Have you been missing a community of other creatives to chat with? Well come join one of our “A space for conversation” events. Each session will have a topic to get the conversation going. Talking about how the topic affects and informs your practice. The conversations will be held in the courtyard of the or in the studio if it gets to cold (which may happen sooner then we think!)

Artist ft:

is a multidisciplinary artist completing his BA in Photography, Video and Digital Imaging at Sunderland Uni. Dale explains his practice as:
“I use my practice to explore where I am and where I have been in life. Using whichever medium I feel is appropriate I hope to engage audiences in an empathetic dialogue about their lives and experiences and my own.”

We are looking forward to having him do an artist talk this Saturday at Creative Space and some of his work will be on sale too. Any of you that work in the arts and also hospitality/kitchen’s won’t want to miss this talk!
