Wow! Another fabulous Great North Run

Thank you to our lovely choir members who joined us today and sang to 63,000 runners including many from Tyneside and Northumberland Mind

You were all amazing, such energy and enthusiasm as usual. The runners definitely seemed to appreciate our efforts to keep them going!
And how lovely that the sun shone! No rain!

Good morning all.

Here's the info for The Great North Run for those who didn't pick up a leaflet at the last session.

It looks like the weather is going to be dry - but we've been caught out before so be prepared!

I've heard from Tyneside and Northumberland Mind and they are looking forward to singing with us again.
I'll be handing over the Smarties tubes I have so far, if you have one filled up with 20 pence pieces at home please bring it along.
They will be bringing along plenty of t-shirts for those who don't have one from last year, or you can wear your choir t-shirt. If you would rather wear your own top that is fine, but please make it blue if possible - the person in a different colour will look like the soloist!

Please call or contact me with any questions or queries. I'll have my phone on loud on Sunday morning if anything crops up.

On Saturday 25th July some of Tuneless Choir Newcastle had a lovely afternoon singing at the Open Garden of one of our choir members, helping to raise money for St Oswald's Hospice, Cankids Hospice in India and Breast Cancer Now.
An amazing £2700 was raised! Well done!

We were also able to take part in a fabulous Bollywood Dance Workshop after singing! Such a lovely experience for us all.
Thank you to Sheinaz for inviting us to sing in your beautiful garden.
And a huge thank you to our fabulous choir who really got the party started with their enthusiastic singing and dancing! You are all amazing! 🎶
