Hello,

The future theme park "Kynren - The Storied Lands" opening next summer near Bishop Auckland, County Durham, is looking for performers for multiple live shows. We need actors, as well as actors with stunt/action skills, combat experts, people with old craftsmanship skills (blacksmithing, woodcarving, etc) and animal handlers. We would love of course to encourage talents from the North East to join us, and they can submit their application and showreel by email (see all info on the link below). 2nd round of auditions will be taking place at the Kynren site in January.

Just over a week to go to curtain up on the Music Man by Murton Theatre Group telling the story of con man Harold Hill who alights the train at Rock City Iowa with the intention he is going to con the inhabitants out of their money teaching their kids in a 'town band'. Using a 'revolutionary' new system called the 'think system' he gets the parents to pay for costumes and instruments and he intends to make good his exit before the parents realise he hasn't taught the children anything.
However he falls in love with the towns young librarian despite her initial reticence. When caught and he has to prove the children are a 'band' how will he cope?
