Get ready for some pure panto magic this festive season! Goldilocks and the Three Bears is coming to the Market Pavilion from 5th – 12th December, and it is going to be an absolute circus! 🎭🍿

We are thrilled to reveal that Blyth’s very own Brandon Patterson will be taking the stage, bringing ultimate dramatic flair as the wickedly brilliant Evil Ringmaster Heinkel! 🎩

💥 Will he rule the ring, or will Goldilocks and the bears foil his plans? You'll have to be there to find out!

🎭 An Unhappy Dame, and a Heavy Heart... 💔
Even our Dame can’t crack a smile today. We are absolutely heartbroken to share some tough news with our amazing community.

For the second year in a row, we applied to the Blyth Celebrates Fund. Our biggest goal this year wasn't just to put on a spectacular show—it was to secure funding so we could provide free tickets to local families and community members who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford a festive family pantomime this December.

Sadly, for the second time, our application has been rejected.
To say we are disappointed is an understatement. We are a completely organic company, created right here in Blyth, by local community members, for local community members. Last year, thanks to your incredible support, we were one of the biggest individual arts-based events at the Market Pavilion. We proved how much the people of Blyth want and support local theatre.
We wanted nothing more than to ensure everyone in our town, regardless of their financial situation, could share in the magic, laughter, and joy of Goldilocks and the Three Bears this Christmas.

While this funding rejection is a massive blow, our commitment to Blyth hasn't changed. We are still going to pour our hearts into making this the best circus panto adventure possible.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support us, stand by us, and keep community theatre alive in Blyth. 🐻✨

We're looking for a strong Male or Female character actor - to play our Baby Bear in Klass productions 2026 Family Pantomime - Goldilocks and the three bears. at the Market pavilion Blyth

You must be 17+ years old for this role

Singing and dancing ability is required.

Performance dates are 5th December 2026 - 12th December 2026

You must be available for all performances - Please note there are daytime mid week shows.

You must be available for rehearsal period - Tuesday & Friday evenings September - December

If you think you could be our Baby Bear, please send a short video introducing yourself as well as singing us a song that best shows your talents.
