🐻 FROM BEHIND THE SCENES TO THE CENTER RING! 🐻

Talk about a multi-talented superstar! 🎪 We are absolutely thrilled to reveal that our fantastic Production Assistant, Rhu, is not only keeping everything running smoothly backstage for Goldilocks and the Three Bears, but she is ALSO stepping into the spotlight to play Baby Bear! ✨

Rhu has been involved in theatre for over 30 years, with a decade dedicated to production management for major shows like Grease and Hairspray. Anyone who knows Rhu knows Christmas is her absolute favorite time of year, so panto is always a highlight—and she’s no stranger to stage magic with credits in Aladdin, Cinderella, and Jack and the Beanstalk. 🎄

Off-stage, Rhu works full-time for the NHS and is married with two children. She is delighted to be back with the Klass Productions team and cannot wait to bring Baby Bear to life at the Market Pavilion this December! 🌟

🎪 EVERY GREAT TEAM NEEDS A GREAT LEADER! 🎪

As our cast announcements draw to a close, it’s time to introduce the incredible driving force behind this entire festive adventure! We are thrilled to spotlight the Owner, Director, and Producer of Klass Productions, the wonderful Claire Khass! ✨🎬

Claire has been a passionate part of the North East theatre scene for over 30 years. After gracing the stage for more than two decades in leading and principal boy roles, she transitioned her wealth of experience and infectious energy behind the scenes, stepping into directing over 13 years ago. 🎭

She has directed major musicals across the region, with impressive credits including Grease, The Full Monty, Hairspray, Legally Blonde, and 9 to 5 the Musical. She has also directed professionally down south for Enchanted Entertainment Ltd on their festive pantomime in Ipswich. 🌟

Following the pandemic, Claire founded Klass Productions with a clear vision: to bring high-quality, accessible theatre to audiences across Tyneside, Northumberland, and Newcastle. Since then, she has successfully steered the company through brilliant hits, including High Ridin’, Sinderella, Big D, Aladdin, Rock of Ages, and last year’s smash-hit festive family fairytale, Rapunzel, right here at the Market Pavilion! 🎟️❤️

🤡 BLYTH’S NUMBER ONE PANTO COMIC IS BACK! 🤡

Get ready for non-stop humour, silly antics, and unforgettable memories, because the one and only Simon Pinkney is stepping back into the ring as the hapless, hilarious, and thoroughly entertaining Simple Simon! 🎪✨

Simon has been performing for the last 30 years, carving out a successful career across major regional stages like Newcastle's Theatre Royal, the Tyne Theatre & Opera House, and The Playhouse Whitley Bay. For the past 15 years, his focus has been purely on pantomime, working closely with Klass Productions owner and Director, Claire Khass, to build and perfect the beloved character of 'Simple Simon'. 🎭❤️

He is absolutely delighted to be bringing laughter and joy back to the streets of Blyth this Christmas, and he cannot wait to see all the happy, smiling, and giggling faces in the audience at the Market Pavilion! 🌟

A truly magical circus panto requires top-tier production, and we are incredibly lucky to have the absolute best team in the business handling ours! 🎪 We are thrilled to introduce the brilliant FX Productions who are supplying and operating all of our lighting, sound, and staging needs for Goldilocks and the Three Bears! 🌟🎭

Based in the North East, FX Productions is a professional lighting and audio company that has been proudly serving the region and beyond since 2001. Now celebrating their 25th year, they have spent over two decades delivering high-quality production solutions for theatres, touring shows, corporate events, and community organisations.

From full event design and complete production management down to the smallest backstage detail, their team of expert technicians and designers work tirelessly to ensure everything is delivered to the highest standard. Over the years, they’ve built an incredible client list that includes massive names like the BBC, Endemol, SJM Concerts, and Durham County Council!

👱‍♀️ SHE’S BACK—AND HUNTING FOR PORRIDGE! 🐻

The countdown is heating up, and it’s time for another exciting cast announcement! 🎪 We are absolutely thrilled to reveal that the wonderful Abigail Lincoln will be stepping into the center ring as Goldilocks in this year's massive circus panto adventure! ✨

Abigail is a familiar face to our audience, having completely charmed us all as Rapunzel in last year’s festive family fairytale at the Market Pavilion. Her passion for the stage started young at the Gala Theatre Stage School, where she appeared in classics like A Chorus Line, The Phantom of the Opera, and Jekyll & Hyde. 🎭

She later graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in Musical Theatre from Newcastle College, taking on roles like Maria in 9 to 5 and Tiny Tina in Urinetown. Abigail has been a beloved part of the Klass Productions family since 2021, when she first rocked the stage as Rizzo in Grease! 🎸🌟

Away from the spotlight, Abigail works as a Senior Recruitment Consultant and loves travelling, hitting festivals, and enjoying live music. She’s incredibly grateful to her friends and family for their unwavering support of her theatre adventures. ❤️
