Hello all, apologies for the prolonged absence, but as I mentioned in my last post I had a health problem to attend to.

I am pleased to say that after chemotherapy and surgery and exceptional care from Newcastle's Freeman Hospital, and even better care here at home, the prognosis is looking good.

Thank you to all friends, customers and fellow musicians who sent messages of support and encouragement during what was a pretty dark and difficult six months.

I'm now able to restart some studio work again.
Initially this will just be editing, mixing and mastering work, and I am willing to do most of these jobs for free whilst I get my ears back in tune again!
Feel free to drop me a line if you have a piece of work (audio or video) that you think I can help with.

I'm hoping to be able to start full studio sessions, and possibly some live work again in the Spring, so please let me know if you have anything coming up you think I can help with?

Hello all, as some of you will already know, unfortunately due to health issues Red Tape Music is taking a pause for new bookings and studio sessions. All existing projects are being completed, (though a little slower than usual!)
I anticipate being back in full operation and open for bookings in the Spring of 2026. Watch this space for details of the re-opening date.
In the meantime have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone.
