next record & cd fair has been confirmed as saturday april 5th-usual venue,usual times etc-i will be creating an event very soonhowever due to past problems with the venue etc please keep in touch or double check the date nearer to the time to avoid any problems etc-up to date flyers,posters & info are usually in most newcastle record shops etc or the usual places-happy to assist and help anybody as always--more news later..thks john from pet sounds station road south gosforth etc-

thanks to everyone who came down to the fair today,hopefully you all found something of interest to buy or think do i really need that?
as always there is so much we could buy or replace on cd or vinyl or even wish we could buy etc--for me today it was a rare promo single by blind faith from 1969 ish--£300!!!only 500 made---first copy ive seen in 35 years...do i need it?feel free to post here if you can of any records you bought at the fair or lets say rave about them etc...the next fair is on saturday april 5th all being well-will update nearer the time-sadly the venue keeps changing the date booking etc-till the april---found this great lp by local band fogg-from the 70s---only £2 as well!!!still looking for this bbc tv 45 btw?

i will chase big ian up.the venue will not confirm to ian 100% for the dates he wants-next fair hopefully will be 1st or 2nd saturday in febuary-will keep you up to date-

at the fair today one of the dealers was selling a private lp collection for his pal-various prog & rock lps-plus just about every lp made from frank zappa-feel free to email me if anyone is interested and couldnt make the fair today-the collection may be for sale soon in my shop at south gosforth-the handyside arcade here on fb or as many prefer to call it pet sounds-still cant decide..open thursday,friday & saturday 11.30am till 5pm ish

sadly im not the best at fb pages etc,but just wanted to try and perhaps let anybody know that at the fair on saturday,one dealer has a great stall of vinyl from a private collection and will have pretty much everything on vinyl from frank zappa inc box sets and un official releases etc etc...check the stall on,on the right as you go into the fair ie in the foyer ask for mick...
isnt it a shame...fb doesnt like the dakota plains!!!

sadly two great guys who cant make the record fair next month but would if they could ie both are music freaks!!both were in a band called the long ryders from la having split up in 1987-yup that long ago--its sid griffin & greg sowders-sid is no stranger to newcastle having played a few times here and also produced the last lindisfarne cd-plus knows what viz comic is all about--greg works in the la music industry and i think im correct in saying this?did some stuff with local newcastle musician beth jeans orton ie music publishing maybe?last time i saw greg in newcastle i pointed him in the directions for tififinys niteclub!!must find out if he scored that nite? or just captured the flag?
