We had such a brilliant time last week showing Parco Archeologico di Ercolano Director Francesco Sirano our fabulous art and culture in Newcastle, including Baltic centre for Contemporary Art, the Hatton Gallery and the Great North Museum. We also had an amazingly sunny trip to Hadrian's Wall (Chester’s Roman Fort & Vindolanda and up on the Whin Sill) and were delighted to host our Symposium on Contemporary Fine Art and Archaeology, joined by our fantastic expert Panel including Catrin Huber, Francesco Sirano, Ian Haynes, Lindsay Allason Jones, Mike Collins, Judith King & Iain Watson. Next Thursday 28th March, 5.15-7.30pm, we are hosting a Symposium on "Contemporary Fine Art and Archaeology: From Herculaneum and Pompeii to Hadrian's Wall" with guest speak Director Francesco Sirano Ercolano - Parco Archeologico alongside Professor Catrin Huber.
