Bona-fide Black Thrash legends. Formed in Brazil in 1981, widely regarding as being responsible for the growth of extreme metal in South America and influencing everyone from Sepultura to the Norwegian black metal scene in the 90s.
One of the most important bands in the extreme metal underground over the last 40 years and we are well chuffed to announce them for the 2019 edition of Byker Grave Festival.
Hellripper (Scotland)
One of the first (and best) bands we put on since starting the Byker Grave bookings malarkey last year. Absolute neck wrecking thrash attach and a firm favourite if the turn out last time is anything to go by
Altostratus (Newcastle)
Local instrumental prog metal lads, they’ve been to almost every show we did last year, even stick it through the entire 30 minutes of DJ Dadmagnets, ‘combustion’. We couldn’t not offer them a show really, what with them, being a great band to go alongside it.

With 2017 nearing its end I just want to say thank you to everyone who has supported Disgrace to the Scene this year. Bands, attendees, venues and co-promoters. It's always a pleasure to bring bands from in and out the country and make a great event of it for all. With that being said, we've got a few more shows cooked up for next year so keep an eye on the page, the first being a triple death metal slobber knocker with - Live Burial // Blasphemer // Repulsive Vision at Trillians.
