⛱ Cast away with us as Dave Johns hosts another unmissable Desert Island Flicks – this time we’re thrilled to welcome BAFTA-winning actress and Vera legend, Brenda Blethyn, to the Tyneside to uncover the cinema which has shaped her life.

🎬 Expect personal stories, behind-the-scenes secrets and Brenda Blethyn’s hand-picked clips from her all-time favourite films.

Every ticket directly supports The Tyneside Talent Unit, helping young people from working-class backgrounds break into film and TV.
