HVA Administrative and business support, exclusively for the Entertainment & Cultural sector 🪩

I have to tell you (again) about Wednesday! ✨

A small group of us spent the day together building landing pages and email sequences from scratch, with Nicole Louise Geddes of and myself holding the whole thing together. And what happened across those few hours honestly exceeded what I was expecting.

The vibe in the room was something else. Everyone bouncing off each other, sharing their screens, asking the questions they had probably been too afraid to ask anywhere else, and slowly watching something they had been putting off for months actually take shape in real time. By the end of the day the energy had completely shifted. Not just relief that it was done, but a real confidence with the tech that carried into the rest of the week.

That is the thing about doing a task like this in a small, supported group rather than alone at midnight with seventeen browser tabs open. You realise it is not as scary as it looked from the outside. And once you know that, you cannot unknow it.

We are doing it again on the 16th July. Same format, same intimate group, same proper hand-holding and cheerleading from start to finish. If your landing page and email sequence is still on the list, that is your date. 🪩

DM me EVENT and I will send you everything you need to know. Spots are limited so do not sit on this one!

If you are a coach working in the entertainment industry, you give everything to your clients. Here is how HVA makes sure the business behind that work holds up. ✨️

Coaching in this industry is demanding in a very specific way. You are there holding space for your clients, supporting their growth, showing up fully for every session and every conversation. And the business around all of that, the membership community that needs managing, the newsletters and blog posts that need producing consistently, the systems and technical infrastructure that keeps everything running, tends to get whatever energy is left over at the end.

Which, let's be honest with ourselves, is rarely enough!

I work with industry coaches across all of those areas. The admin of managing a membership group so that the community experience feels seamless and supported, without it consuming the coach's own time. The production of regular newsletters and blog posts that keep the audience engaged and reflect the quality of the coaching work. The systems and technical support that ensures the backend runs reliably whether or not the coach has the headspace to manage it that week 🪩

What changes when those things are properly supported is not just time. It is the quality of presence a coach can bring to their actual work. Because when the backend is held, the focus can go entirely where it belongs.

The work you do for your clients deserves the same quality of support behind it!

Today was the day! ✨

Earlier, a small group of creative business owners built their landing pages and email sequences from scratch, in real time, with Nicole Louise Geddes of and myself holding the whole thing together.

The tech that felt overwhelming this morning was sorted by this evening. The landing page that has been sitting on the list forever, now exists. The email sequence that felt like something to figure out later is live and ready.

Thank you so much to Nicole and the group for trusting me to take you through this process, I cannot wait to subscribe to all your wonderful mailing lists!! 🪩

Drop a 🙋 in the comments if this is something you still need to sort…. ⬇️

I did this as a story earlier, but I think it deserves a space on the grid as well! When it comes to the different purposes of a landing page, to quote Mean Girls “the limit does not exist” (I mean it probably does, but you get my point!)
Tomorrow is the day to get it done! Get that task ticked off the to-do list, and actually start building an audience, promoting your event and selling your products! Fancy joining? DM me or for all the details! See you tomorrow ✨

Something that has popped up a few times across the creative industry is the tech overwhelm around building a landing page and setting up an email sequence. Not because people do not understand why they need one, but because it feels like one of those big, slightly daunting tasks that requires a chunk of time and a level of technical confidence that not everyone feels they have yet.

And so it sits on the list. Month after month. While the audience that you could be building stays unconnected, and the opportunities that could be landing in an owned inbox land nowhere instead.

An email list is one of the most valuable things a creative business can build. Not because it is trendy or because every business guru says so, but because it is yours. Social media reach is borrowed whereas an email list is owned. And in an industry as subject to change and uncertainty as ours, having a direct line to the people who want to hear from you is genuinely one of the most strategic foundations you can put in place.

Wednesday is the day to actually get it done! ✨

I am joining Nicole Louise Geddes of and a small group of ten people to build landing pages and email sequences in real time, from start to finish, in one dedicated day. No watching from the sidelines or saving it for later. Just doing the thing, with hand holding and cheerleading throughout.

We are even building landing pages for the upcoming Spotlight on Success book launch at the moment, so the timing of this workshop could not feel more fitting!! 🪩

There are still a few spots left, so if this has been on your list, then this is the day!

Comment EVENT and I will send you the link right now ⬇️

Right, I need to tell you about something happening on Wednesday 10th June because it is not something you want to miss! ✨️

I am joining forces with Nicole Louise Geddes of PerformerPreneur for a Done In A Day online workshop and we are building landing pages and email sequences together in real time. The whole thing, from start to finish, in one dedicated day.

And when I say we, I mean everyone, myself included! There are some other exciting announcements coming soon as well... 👀

But back to Wednesday!

No watching from the sidelines, or adding it to the list of things to do later. Just showing up, doing the work and leaving with it actually done.

It is limited to just ten spots so it stays intimate and properly supported, and there are still a few places left.

If a landing page and email sequence has been sitting on your to-do list for longer than you would like to admit, this is the day to finally sort it.

DM me EVENT and I will send you everything you need to know ⬇️

Before the summer chaos hits, sort these three things.✨

The summer season in the entertainment industry is not a time to be figuring out your systems. It is a time to be delivering, performing, producing and doing the work you built all of this for.

Which means right now, before the diary fills up, before the last-minute bookings start landing and before the general beautiful chaos of the summer entertainment season properly kicks in, is exactly the right moment to get three things in order.

The image says it all. Save it, share it and do the things. Your future self, somewhere around mid-August, will thank you for it 🪩

Save this for when you need the reminder, and tell me in the comments which one you are sorting first ⬇️

Most Dedicated Strategic Business Support Leader.. still processing this one! ✨

I was recently awarded Most Dedicated Strategic Business Support Leader (Tyne and Wear) at the Influential Business Women Awards. And even though I knew I had been nominated, when the email popped into the inbox to confirm it, I genuinely did not know whether to laugh, cry or immediately question whether they had the right person.

The honest answer is probably all three happened in fairly quick succession.

Despite all the wonderfulness that has been happening behind the scenes at HVA recently, imposter syndrome doesn't magically disappear. So yes, I had a moment of disbelief before the news actually settled in! But this is well deserved. I've done this, and I've built this, and it does deserve to be celebrated!!

HVA started as a side hustle. It grew alongside a career change, a baby, a move, and a whole new chapter of life. There have been many moments of real self-doubt, especially in the early days of building something that simply did not exist yet, a specialist, strategic support business for the entertainment industry, and wondering whether anyone would understand what it was or why it mattered.

So an award with the word dedicated in the title means something specific to me. Because that is what it has been. Dedicated, persistent, and built entirely on the belief that creative businesses and performers deserve support that actually understands their world.

But the next word along is even more important, because that is exactly what HVA is. Strategic. Not general admin support to help your business tick along (although, of course, I help with that too), but actual strategy and systems to support your business today and long into the future!

To every client who has trusted me with their business, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. This is as much yours as it is mine. And to everyone who has championed, supported and encouraged HVA along the way, you know who you are, and I am grateful for every single one of you. 💛

Here's to a more sustainable and scalable entertainment and creative sector! 🪩

June, we are ready for you! ✨

May was a month that surprised me in the best possible way, and not just because of everything that happened for my clients. The website finally got its long overdue refresh, which honestly felt like tidying the house before guests arrive. Not the most glamorous job (although I really enjoyed the process), but one of those things where once it is done you wonder why you left it so long.

And alongside that, something new has been quietly taking shape. A new consultation line of service that I have been working on and am really excited about, not quite ready to share all the details yet, but far enough along that it feels real and it feels right. Watch this space….👀

That is what May taught me, really. That the most meaningful work in a business does not always arrive on the plan. Sometimes it finds its way in anyway, and you are better for letting it.

June is about taking all of that, the foundations, the refresh, the new ideas starting to take shape, and building properly. Not just showing up but building something that holds. Something that is still standing and still growing a year from now, three years from now, beyond.

That is the Build to Last conversation. And it feels like exactly the right moment to be having it.

Tell me, what are you building towards in June? I would love to know! ⬇️
