We were really sad to hear of the passing of Ian Russell. In a tribute to him, we sang this Sheffield carol ❤️

A HUGE thank you to everyone that's been involved in the Ouseburn folk choir and our brand new Ouseburn folk band. This community is one of my favourite things about working as a musician.

Had a joyful last rehearsal last night followed by an impromptu song in the pub.

Off to do our Christmas concert now! We're at for the big Christmas ceilidh!

A huge thanks to everyone that's had us sing at their events and festivals this year! It's been an absolute treat. And a massive thank you to the venue that we call home, !

See you in 2026 folks!

Hi all! It's coming to that time again, I'll be collecting sign ups for the new term. We've been fully booked the past few terms which has been great!

If you'd like to have a chance to join the choir, drop me an email at [email protected] and I'll add you to the waiting list. We usually have a good few spaces available at each new term.

I'll be sending an email out to everyone on the waiting list in the next week or two, and whoever replies first will get the spots available :)

The last few choir gigs of the year were absolutely excellent! Our final one, at was with a tiny little group as everyone had gone home for Christmas. Before that, around 40 of us performed at before - both, gorgeous gigs.

Thank you to the choir for being the loveliest group of people, to all the volunteers for their hard work and support, to for hosting us on Mondays, and to everyone that's booked us to perform this year.

We've loved it.

If you'd like to hear us in 2025, you won't have to wait long. We'll be at the Cumberland Arms on Sunday the 5th January for their first ever wassail!

Come on down!

Hello everyone! Thanks for another year of the Ouseburn Folk Choir! A special thanks to our venue The Cumberland Arms , our volunteers (Rakesh, Liz, Sara, Tim) and to all the lovely festivals and venues that have booked us this year.

Are you heading out to see at tomorrow? Or maybe you didn't manage to get a ticket, but you're still looking to soak up some festive vibes.

Ouseburn Folk Choir will be doing a short set of carols and winter songs on the concourse at The Glasshouse at 6:15pm!
