These are a few more oil pastel pieces I have made! I was looking at greek mythology and heightened emotion and so decided to make the 2nd piece based off of persephone who became trapped in the underworld looking up to her mother on earth and medusa in the the 3rd piece. Medusa is a mythical character who was punished for something she hadn't done and was beheaded so I wanted to depict the way she felt when she was wronged and wrongfully killed 🐍
