Ombre Lip Blush

Every set of lips is different, which is why every treatment is customised.

For this client, we used a soft Ombre Lip Blush technique to enhance the natural lip shape rather than create a bold lipstick effect. By adding slightly more definition around the borders and blending the pigment seamlessly towards the centre, we created a soft, natural gradient that gives the lips a more defined appearance.

We intentionally kept the colour light and natural, allowing it to blend beautifully with the client’s own lip tone. After healing, she can decide whether to keep this fresh, subtle look or add more colour during her touch up appointment.

Lip Blush Neutralisation

Not all lips are naturally an even shade. Some have darker areas, cool or purple tones, or pigmentation that makes the colour appear uneven.

Lip neutralisation is a specialised treatment designed to balance and correct these tones before creating the final lip colour.

The first session focuses on neutralising the darker areas. Once the lips have fully healed, we can assess the result and decide whether another neutralisation session is needed or if the lips are ready for the desired Lip Blush colour.

Every pair of lips heals differently, which is why the process is always personalised. Patience is key, but the results are worth it.

Lip neutralization is a permanent makeup procedure designed to even out the natural lip tone by correcting uneven pigmentation and lightening darker areas. The goal is to create a more balanced, uniform base before achieving the desired final lip colour.

The first session focuses on neutralizing and lightening the darker areas of the lips. Once the lips have fully healed, the results can be assessed to determine whether another neutralization session is needed or if the final target colour can be applied.

Lip neutralization is usually a process that requires between two and four sessions, depending on the natural lip colour, the level of pigmentation, and how the lips heal and retain the pigment.

This is how healed lips look after just one session of permanent makeup. The shape is nicely defined, and you can finally see where the lip line ends, as before the client had very light lips, especially in colder weather when they would turn almost pale.

For the second session, the client wanted to slightly deepen the colour, so we added a soft touch of pigment. Personally, I think the result after the first session was already very satisfying. Sometimes one treatment is completely enough, but it all comes down to the client’s preference.

It’s always better to keep it soft and build up the colour gradually rather than go too intense from the start 😉

This is my regular client. She first came to me 18 months ago for ombre brows.

Later, we did her lips. At her lips touch-up appointment, we also did top up after 18th months for her brows at the same time, so now she has a full permanent makeup look.

Look at how the brows faded over time. This is exactly how it should be. Soft, even, no weird grey or blue tones, just a clean fade ready for a top-up.

For the lips, she wanted a slightly darker shade at the touch-up, so we added a bit more colour while still keeping it natural.

On the first photo, the lips and brows are freshly done and will look natural once healed. On the second photo, the brows are 14 months old and have slightly faded, and the lips are shown before the lip blush procedure.
