Many many thanks to everyone who came to last night from our Stoke Indoor Market Residency - a wonderful night great to speak to so many people who connected with the project so strongly. Many many thanks to ._.otron .jo Dan and the whole team, to Chris, Matt and everyone at Stoke Indoor Market and to and all the stallholders who provided such great food and refreshments and to everyone who came among and has supported the project from its beginnings… can wait to see what comes next

Stoke Market Residency 10th-13th July at

Across May 2024 I took over a stall in Stoke Indoor Market as a pop up studio, creating a series of sketches and paintings of the vibrant market community.

These NEW artworks will be on display in a special free exhibition at B arts base at 72 Hartshill Road, Stoke, ST4 7RB-entrance though the cafe, and into the space we call the ‘Middle Space’

The Exhibition is Open:
Wednesday 10th July 11-3pm, Celebration and Opening Event: 4pm
Thursday 11th July 11-3pm
Friday 12th July 11-3pm
Saturday 13th July 11-3pm

With a free celebration event (including some delicious refreshments from the market) at B arts on Wednesday 10th July at 4pm…

If the exibition inspires you to visit the market (and we’re sure it will!) you’ll be able to follow a poetry trail from B arts building to Stoke Indoor Market which is open every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 8-4pm.

The project is part of our Animate 72 programme funded by Stoke-On-Trent City Council and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
