Look back with us at the wonderful world of Watchful by ADHOK that took over Newbury Town Centre last month.

We witnessed a heart-warming story of a lifetime of love, as a couple took a fun-filled, moving journey through the streets of Newbury.

Mark your calendars for our next outdoor event in just three weeks time. On Saturday 5 September at 8pm, French company Rara Woulib bring Deblozay, a joyous procession led by a talented choir and energetic cast of performers.

How do we turn celebration into belonging?

In our recent article for Arts Professional, OutdoorArtsUK Director Sho Shibata explores how Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games is working with the outdoor arts sector to create authentic connections with communities.

Drawing on conversations with organisers (Surge, Glasgow Life presents) artists (Bex Anson, MarkBleakley, Ronan McMahon) and cultural policy expert Dr Beatriz Garcia, Sho highlights why community relationships, long-term investment and cross-sector collaboration matter.

The article also reflects on the sector strategy, Wherever You Are, Whoever You Are, The Arts Are Yours (commissioned by OutdoorArtsUK, Without Walls UK and 101 Outdoor Arts) and the importance of building trust over time.
