We have weekly painting sessions, summer outdoor painting sessions, exhibitions, demonstrations and workshops by professional artists. A group of people who get together to do art, visit exhibitions, have fun and learn together.

Members of Newbury Art Group took part in Art on the Park in Victoria Park, Newbury last Sunday - Josi Weaver, Karen Burkin, Beryl Wilson, Pearl Hailstone, Jan Stephens and Ian Black. Unfortunately after a few hours the rain came down and artists began to pack up early. Fortunately there were a good number of members of the public before then, and some sales were made!

Renee Richardson won the public vote at our Summer Exhibition with her stunning pencil drawing of an elephant 'The Watchful Giant'. Renee shown below receiving the trophy from NAG chair Beryl Wilson.

Our summer exhibition closes in half an hour, and we have sold so many pictures!

Our summer exhibition at the Town Hall is going well - a good number of paintings have sold already and we have had plenty of great feedback. Don't forget to come and have a look this weekend if you haven't been already! Open Saturday 9.30am to 4.30pm and Sunday 9.30am to 4pm.

A sneaky preview of this year's summer exhibition! Beryl and Pearl, with help from Renee and Gillian, have just finished hanging the paintings.

Some of them are photographed here. Spread the word and bring your friends and relations along to look. Opening tomorrow at 9.30am at Newbury Town Hall, and everyday till Sunday.

A date for your diaries! Our summer exhibition at Newbury Town Hall will be from 30 July to 2 August 10am to 4.30pm (closing at 4pm on Sunday) Free entry - all original and previously unseen artworks!

A small but hardy bunch fought off the challenges of a showery day at the beautiful Littlecote House for yesterday's NAG outdoor painting day. We are hoping for better weather for our next outing to Cobbs Farm.
