Three weeks ago we took our first steps onto the shoreline with driftwood and soft teal. Last week we picked up pebbles and sea glass. And this week — the rock pool palette is finally complete.

Meet the final two colours: oyster and pale aqua. Soft, pearlescent and utterly beautiful, these are the shades you find when you peer into a rock pool on a still summer’s day. Cool, clear and completely wearable in hand knitting yarn.

Six colours. One palette. All found at the water’s edge. 🌊

Have you ever stopped to look at the colours on a beach? 🪨🌿

Really looked? Because once you do, you start seeing the most beautiful, unexpected palette everywhere. This week we’re exploring two of our favourite finds from the shoreline — pebble grey and sea glass green.

Pebble grey is the ultimate quiet neutral — solid, soothing and completely timeless in hand knitting yarn. And sea glass green? It’s that soft, frosted shade you only find when the sea has worked its magic on a piece of glass. Cool, muted and unlike any other green.

Together they’re understated, beautiful and completely wearable. The rock pool palette is building — and next week we’re adding the final pieces. 🐚
