You are most awefully welcome to join Jill Hobbs at Ace Space this Sunday, December 10 from 7-9 for a preview of her most excellent paintings in the bar.
It is also interesting to note that she has been in the second series of "Make it at Market" a fascinating insight as to how artists can triumph with their talent. Definitely a good watch on BBC I Player. The wonderful Gavin Wilkinson will be serenading us with his loyal musos. An excellent night will unfold.

Also I will be interviewing the highly accomplished author Jo Stock who has written 5 spy novels under his own name and 5 thrillers under JS Monroe on my show, "Art For Arts Sake" on Kennet Radio this coming Thursday December 14 from 7-8 pm. We will be delving into the dark web, security paranoia, brain washing and the mathematical significance of Crop Circles all couched within his stunning and scary novels.

All splendid stuff supporting the arts in your community.

It is with a heavy heart that, alas, Altered States finally bids goodbye to Shaw House this weekend so catch it now or lose it forever. Thank you to all those wonderful artists for their sublime contributions. To celebrate the end, some poets will be popping up doing readings to enrich the viewers experience including the wonderful and ludicrously talented Steve Wallis will be reading his most excellent poem encapsulating and encompassing the show.

Only 2 more weekends until Altered States Open Air Sculpture Exhibition closes so off you jolly well go. To wet your appetite we have an Acapello Group performing this morning and this afternoon and next weekend we will also have a collection of respected poets be reading for your delight.
So far 2500 have enjoyed the event so join the happy wanderers and wonder at 60 sculptures at Shaw House open 7 days from 11-4 each day. No booking required and dogs are welcome but on a lead and its FREE!

It is with ginormous enthusiasm and unfettered excitement that I can announce that Altered States Open Air Sculpture Exhibition is now open and has been since May 29 and will run until June 27 at Shaw House Newbury RG14 2DR where 60 sculptures are waiting for your rapturous appreciation, each one, a masterpiece of craft, design, imagination and vision. All works are for sale.
Entrance is free from 11- 4 every day. Families are most welcome. Go to alteredstatessculptures.co.uk for more information to help you enjoy this visual spectacular.
I will be posting a selection of the exhibits but only partial views to entice you onto this most stunning of venues.
It is a huge event and thus far we have been visited by 2000 people It is not to be missed.
