I’ll be in residence throughout the exhibition, sculpting in one iof the upstairs rooms at Standen House. You’re warmly invited to observe me at work, share the experience with me, and explore the collection, with selected pieces available for purchase.
Standen House is a truly special setting for the exhibition. An Arts and Crafts masterpiece designed by Philip Webb, it retains rare original William Morris wallpapers and furnishings. Set within beautiful gardens, with far-reaching views across the surrounding landscape, it creates a richly atmospheric backdrop for my work.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting .uk Rocket Propelled Games, one of Newbury’s newest high-street businesses.

Run by a mother and son, this inclusive board game café opened last summer, and it has already become a popular community hub.

It was great to hear how they have created a safe and welcoming social space for people of all ages, including dedicated SEND sessions and after-school clubs.

Independent businesses like Rocket Propelled Games are the cornerstone of our community and essential to the local economy. I am delighted to see new businesses setting up in Newbury and West Berkshire, and I will push to ensure they receive the support they need to thrive.

I’ve been teaching for many years now and it’s just so wonderful to see students achieve amazing results. Two of my students were winners in the competition at the City Arts event - September Ceramics.

We have lots of fun in my studio and Noushin got the ‘Paul Hollywood handshake’ the other day.
