I actually have some followers now, so here is a long post (maybe) about Echo Hotel.

At its base, Echo Hotel is a list of the links about music in Scotland which I occasionally need and have been Googling over and over again. Since I was ending up with a decent list, I thought I would put it on the internet so as other people might be able to use it too.

The other thing I really wanted was a calendar to keep up with all the groovy livestreams I want to watch, so that's up there too. My pal and I then decided we wanted to know about all the new music from Scotland and so there is now a Spotify playlist as well.

What I hope is that Echo Hotel will become a useful hub for people looking for information about Scottish music.
I really miss the old Internet of enthusiast sites and spontaneity and Google actually working, so this little website is my small part in maintaining a non corporate Internet for us to enjoy and get information from.
